Hello, hello...I'm delighted to share the news that PRODUCT received it's second beauty blog review (5 Stars, this one!). We were very happy to hear yesterday that Summer Girl, writing in Product Addicted, gave PRODUCT a whirl and fell in love with it. Entering the blogging community has been a great experience, building relationships and hearing what others have to say...We also got our first blog comment from Nicole, the beauty editor at Clutch Magazine. PRODUCT was featured in Clutch last year, when we were just starting out - it's nice to still be in touch!
This weekend I have plans for a road trip: I'm traveling to the desert to check out this year's crop of wildflowers, which have been in major bloom - this Spring especially because of a good rainy season. YAY. A much-needed break and I always enjoy spending time in nature. Hopefully I'll come back with a beautiful photo or two to post here - the ones I've seen online are gorgeous. When choosing our ingredients sources for PRODUCT, we were so excited to find beeswax supplier Stakich because they harvest from bees that pollinate in fields of wildflowers - without any exposure to chemicals or fertilizers...how idyllic! I used to imagine being able to take a trip to see those fields in person - this will be something like that, only hotter (Stakich is in Michigan, not Death Valley!).

It's great to be getting to know people. Oh, and I just wanted to put this out there - Saturday night from 8-9 pm (I don't know about time zone adjustments), there's an event called 'Earth Hour' taking place. Everyone who wants to participate will be turning off as many electrical/energy consuming devices as possible for the full hour, to temporarily ease the strain on our energy resources. The idea, I think, is to participate in this event and build on that participation to make changes in personal energy consumption going forward - like dipping your toe in the pool before climbing in. Which is exactly what I'll be doing on my weekend getaway - Bye for now!
